BASKETS - Our baskets are 100% hand woven.
The bottom of each Sun Decor baskets has the basket artisans’ initial and the year of manufacture.

Wood - Sun Decor baskets are made with finest hard maple tree available.
We purchase our maple wood from Canada and the U.S.

STAIN - We have two different stains
Naples Yellow Stain is our Classic (C)
Warm Brown Stain is our Dark (D)
The stain is made with dye color mixed with water
We do not add any chemicals to our stain
We stain our baskets by hand
Due to natural wood grain and wood color, the color of the stained baskets can vary slightly

LIDS - Our solid wood lids are hand crafted specifically to match each individual basket.


HANDLES - Our wood handles are made with hard maple wood
Handles are hand formed and hand sanded.

LEATHER HANDLES - Leather handles are made with cow hide.

PLASTIC - Our protectors are made with high grade recyclable plastic sheets that are imported from the U.S.

LINER - Our liners are made in Korea and 100% cotton

TACK - Our tacks are 100% brass metal
*The tacks will not rust or bleed on the baskets
